Where IS Lugarno ????????

Lugarno is located about 20km south-west of Sydney on the east coast of Australia. Chartered in 1974, the year the famous Lugarno Ferry was decommissioned, Lugarno Lions club started with a bang. True to its Lions heritage, in 1975 and despite many detractors it was responsible for raising over $500,000 to build the Cameron Wing at St Vincent?s Hospital so the late Dr Victor Chang could continue his famous heart transplant surgery. Since then the club has raised well over $1 million to aid the needy around the world.

Like all businesses these days we had to have a Mission Statement. So here it is:

The club aims to raise funds and add value through service to the local and wider community and in so doing have fun and good fellowship.
